2022 Annual Member Meeting, board nominations

Virginia Bicycling Federation’s annual member meeting is the first Sunday in November, holding with our recent practice.

This year it is November 6 at 7pm on Zoom. Login credentials will be sent to the membership in October – this may serve as a reminder to make sure you are a member in good standing. I speak for the board in appreciation for your support.

At this meeting members will vote in board members, and there is a likelihood of modest changes to the organization’s bylaws that are also voted on by the membership. The board is considering longer director terms and a new annual structure for elections, and specific information will be available to share after our October director meeting.

Want to help us advocate for state-level policies and legislation, share awareness with our state agencies and partners, and raise the profile of bicycling in Virginia? We want your help!

We currently do not have board representation from the Fredericksburg, Southside VA, Southwest VA beyond Roanoke/Blacksburg, nor Harrisonburg areas, so any help recruiting from these areas would help us represent the full Commonwealth more effectively.
